Hi there! My name is Rudi, but you might know me better as @Dramtastic.86 on Instagram and/or Facebook. I’m 36 years old and I live in south of the Netherlands.
From about 2014 I was caught by the “Whisky Virus”, with a preference for Scotch Whisky. Now it’s more like a lifestyle…
And of course my new trip is already planned for August 2022: NC500!!
My whisky journey has already brought me to some distilleries in Scotland and Ireland, many tasting and festivals. On top of that my personal collection is about 250 bottles with around 50 open bottles. I like to share and enjoy all my drams with friends and family, but I’ve got some special moment bottles as well with my Dutch Whisky Brother @Whiskypeater π .
I don’t mind a Scotch Blend at all, but that’s maybe because of the fact that I drink and collect Compass Box π.
All whisky in my kabinet is to be explored…
@Dramtastic.86
I like to advice others in their whisky journey (when asked off course), but most of all I’d like to share my own journey with you.

@Whiskypeater
Hi there! My name is Peter, also known as @Whiskypeater on Instagram and/or Facebook. I’m 30 years old and I live with my wife, Purdy, and our 2 sons, Jelle & Milan, in the north of the Netherlands (Heemskerk, Noord-Holland)
In 2017 I recieved my first bottle of whisky as a gift. I’ve never been interested in whisky before, but this bottle (a Springbank 10yo) made me very curious π§. And after a very short time, it was all lost… I was trapped by the whisky virus π₯.
The first bottle I bought was a Dalmore… a King Alexander III. Not your most common first bottle I would say π . It really opened my eyes about the diversity and quality in whisky.
By Instagram I came in contact with other whisky enthusiasts. I gained a lot of interest in discovering new whisky’s. And as you might have guessed… My preference is Peated whisky’s π₯π₯, with a special love for Laphroaig πΈ.
In 2018, I went to Scotland π΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ Ώ with my father to go on a road trip. We visited some distilleries (incl. Talisker, Dalwhinnie and Ben Nevis) and really enjoyed the scenery β°.
In the last years my journey has brought me to many tastings and festivals. And in the meanwhile my personal collection is about 60 bottles with around 30 open all the time (but I like to kill bottles and restock π).
Let’s drink together, so the whisky will taste better…
@Whiskypeater
I really like to share my whisky passion with others, and of course my big Dutch Whisky Brother, @Dramtastic.86. So I’m always in for a sample swap, or just to share any dram with friends and family when they come over π₯.
